With the addition of Part A deductible coverage, this plan could potentially save you thousands of dollars annually. In plan year 2020, Medicare Part A has a deductible of $1,408 for each time you are admitted to the hospital for longer than 24hrs. This deductible will cover you for the first 60 days of each occurrence. As you can see, if you were to be hospitalized on different occasions, the cost of the deductible can quickly add up.

Each insurance company will set the monthly premium for their own Medigap policy. With the coverage having to be the exact same from one company to another, the only difference is the price each of these carriers will charge.
